Important Updates Regarding COVID-19

Updated 6/2/2020

We’re excited to announce that Phagans School of Hair Design will be open June 22nd!

Once our student salon is open, we have a few policies in place to ensure the safety of our students, instructors, and clients. At this time, we are not accepting new clients. Returning clients must make an appointment by reservation.

When you make an appointment, you can expect to be asked the following questions:

  • Have you had a cough?
  • Have you had a fever?
  • Have you had shortness of breath?
  • Have you been in close contact with anyone with these symptoms or anyone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19 in the past 14 days?

Once we’ve completed those questions, we will also get your cell phone number! We want to make sure we have a way to contact you if there are any further questions or changes to our policies. Keeping our clients in the loop is a priority!

When you arrive for your appointment, we will have further policies in place to ensure safety guidelines are being met. Here’s what you can expect:

  • Clients will be asked to wait outside or in their car until they are texted or called.
  • Clients are expected to come in one at a time and have their temperature will be taken. If their temperature is over 100.3, they will be asked to leave and wait 72 hours to reschedule.
  • All clients are required to wear masks at all times while in the building.
  • Clients will be brought to the sink on the clinic floor and asked to wash their hands. The student will wash their hands as well.
  • When the client is brought back to the front desk to pay, they are required to maintain social distancing.

We understand that these policies are very new, and we appreciate your understanding in advance! We are striving to provide our students with valuable salon experience while maintaining mandated safety protocols. Our clients are very important to us, and we want to do all we can to ensure everyone’s safety! We appreciate your patience, and we look forward to seeing you againwe look forward to seeing you again!
